Very little harvest activity is happening in our Northwest region as of today. Most corn and soybeans are at or very near maturity. Frost is becoming less of a concern except for the soybeans planted in June. Some drier areas to the south and east have just started harvesting corn and soybeans. There will be a lot of soybeans harvested next week as long as the weather cooperates. Most of the corn will be harvest after the soybeans.

The grain markets have worked lower under harvest pressure. Early yields reports are mostly positive. The markets are long overdue f or some bullish news to break the down trend.
