Finally a dry week! A break in the rain gave farmers an opportunity to get the last corn sprayed and a lot of the
soybeans sprayed with post emerge herbicides. Side dressing of nitrogen in the corn was mostly wrapped up last
week as well.

Most fields with drown out spots were dry enough to replant some soybeans by the weekend.

Markets were up for the week as traders are taking notice of the unplanted soybean acres, especially in Kansas
and Missouri. Soybeans gained 55-60 cents since last Monday. Corn showed smaller gains of 5-8 cents.
