Hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day Weekend!

There was not much happening in fields southeast of StormLake last week. The saturated soils were not able to dry
much with the cool, cloudy weather we had last week.

The corn looks to have made it through last weeks cold weather without any major damage. Most fields are showing 2-3 leaf collars (V2-V3) with good to excellent plant stands.Spraying and side dressing will be top priority in corn fields when conditions are right to get back into corn fields.

The few soybeans that are planted will emerge early this week if they haven’t already. Right now we could use some
dry weather to wrap up planting.
