Lots of tillage and fertilizer applications last week, but was quickly stopped by rain on Saturday and Sunday. Some
areas reported up to 1.75 inches. The cold forecast for this week kept a lot of planters out of the field until after the
current cold front has moved through. Once fields are dry enough, planters will be running full speed ahead.

The planting progress report out Monday afternoon showed 9% of US corn is planted, compared to the 5 year
average of 13%.
