Spring field work has been steady for the last 7-10 days with a short pause after rain last Wednesday night. Soil moisture is good. Tile lines have been running for a couple weeks. Rain is forecasted for the next 10-14 days which will keep planters out of the fields.

Last Tuesday’s USDA report showed farmers intend to plant more corn (89.199 million acres) and less soybeans (84.635 million acres) than previous estimates. Demand continues to be strong for both corn and soybeans.
