Nathan Deters AFM

Frequent rainfall events have kept us out of the field to this point. Next week looks to present good planting conditions. Very few acres, if any, have been planted in our area. Most area farmers will be in the field all week next week.

The threat of the bird flu paired with ahead of schedule exports in South America have pressured both corn and soybean prices lower this past week. A lot of eyes will be on the Midwest in the next 30 days watching planting progress which will effect the markets in the near future.
