Nathan Deters AFM

A very nice week weather wise, with moderate temperatures and no rain until a storm came through late Sunday night leaving a general .5 to 1 inch. Accumulated growing degree days are now showing we are about 5 days behind normal development due to cool weather. Most of this week looks to continue that temperature trend with a few warmer days in the forecast this weekend.

The grain markets have set back some after the sharp rally last week. There was a lot of grain sold on the up move, and also many areas got a break from heavy rains. This allowed the corn crop to improve slightly last week.
