Corn planting is underway. This week’s weather forecast will allow a large percentage of the corn acres to be planted. It is amazing how fast the crop is planted with the large equipment being used today. With the extended forecast looking wonderful, corn planted this week should emerge within the next two weeks.

Soybean planting will begin right after the corn is finished. Depending on the weather, the crop could all be planted in the next 15-20 days.

Grain Markets have been under pressure recently from large supplies and excellent planting forecasts. The weather will likely drive the markets for the next 4-5 months.
